Some new stuff from Neo

The first up is one I have been awaiting for quite sometime now. I've always liked Borgward styling and this one is extra nice.

I can hear the moans and the groans already, that is why I left the photo small!

I really like this Daimler though!

PIC - 1963 Imperial from "Move Over Darling"

Clearly, the people at NEO like Mopar products - I appreciate their '57 Imperial, '59 and '60 Dodge and '60 Plymouth to name a few. Not sure about this one, though. Hard to tell from one photo how good it is - in this photo the grille looks a little like a '59 Edsel (I'll wait to see more pictures before deciding) but I'm not sure I want another burgundy coloured Chrysler product already having the BOS Valiant and a '60 Chrysler in this colour. I sure don't remember seeing many Chrysler products in this colour in the day. Probably will give it a pass. This amethyst or silver number looks good:

If it came with a scale model; or even a 1:1, of Doris Day

I'd go for it!

The Imperial is a must for me and ill think ill go for the Buick to, have been uncertain about that one a long time, but not ordered the minichamps version yet.

The decision to market another Buick Centurion is indicative of the hobby's present problems.

Oversupply - too little demand for so many models. The Minichamps is an LE of 999 - are there more than a thousand collectors who want a 60-year old concept car? While the Neo may be a bit cheaper, it won't be much. Does Neo think theirs will be an improvement? Doubtful.

Why didn’t they do a Manta Ray instead?

IMO, the two big problem areas for NEO with U.S. cars are their grilles and black windshield bands.

Wish they left off the Flight Sweep rear deck option on the Imperial. Otherwise looks nice.

But of course it would have been worlds better as a LeBaron four door hardtop.

Hey, anything from the 60s fills a void in our scale.
