Some recent finds

I haven't posted pics in a while so these are like catching up. First couple are Cadillacs, an Elegance Coachcraft Station Wagon and a MiniMarque 1956 Sedan Deville. Next is a Maybach by Small Wheels. Last is my favorite, a Shrock Brothers Studebaker in 1/72 scale. Their little creations are wonderful but hard to find.

Great models, I especially like the Caddy! Anything by...

Shrock is always a treat. I only have one, a '35 Studebaker Roadster (closed) gray top over dark burgundy in 1/72 It is a prized possession.

Good catch on that ELE. Rarely found on the secondary.

I have it on good authority that I should NOT attempt removing the continental kit.

Surely that Maybach was by Metal 43 or Plumbies?

Terrific post, David! Some cool replicas there. I'm partial to the ELE, too.

Plumbies were cast by Western Models and Small Wheels were a range by Western Models. Could this be an answer?

The Maybach Spohn is now listed in the Tin Wizard range and John ….

I think Small Wheels were a separate firm before being absorbed into Western Models and hence kept their identity.

From images in their catalogue the Tin Wizard looks to be from the same moulds as the one illustrated here.

It does have PLUMBIES NO. 53 cast in the baseplate. Also a WM (Western Models) logo.
