woody convertible?
Michel, this fine BRK model shows signs of my early experimentation with Bare Metal foil. I might have done a neater job but I still like the results. Price? My financial records are a mess (and it's time to start on my income taxes!), so I can't give you a definite answer. Probably in the neighborhood of a hundred dollars (USD), perhaps a little higher. I would think that today's asking price would be a bit higher. Mine is not for sale. It's a favorite.
Oh, the couple snuggled in the front seat are by Arttista.

Michel -- my records indicate I paid 72 USD for this model on August 1, 1997. I purchased it with several other Brooklins from a dealer at the Macungie Antique Auto festival and Toy Show/Swap meet (Macgungie, Pennsylvania) that year. Hope this helps!

It first appears in Bob's "Dominion Quarterly" in the APR/MAY/JUN 1998 edition at a selling price of $72.00
I paid $65 on March 30, 2007 from an estate sale of a friend.

David, the one that i can get looks like the one that you have with the bare metal foil added and the price asked is reasonable. Your model and the pictures are gorgeous and i like with the couple it looks real. The 1947 Wesley Slumbercoach will matches very well with the Mercury. For a production run started in 1998 for the Mercury, i find the model not bad at all.
I have a few of these Mercurys. I've cut up some of them to make station wagons as I had a 1:1 in my high school years and after.
Being an older Brooklin it is a little heavy handed in its manufacture but I'm glad that it was as least available to do my conversions.
A '46 and '47.
My high school car.
With what was left over of the back half, I made a Ford Sportsman.
Great work!

I received mine for 57 usd however there is not the antenna. Gorgeous model. Hope than the department of parts will be in fonction soon and they have the antenna in reserve?
