The companion car is STME 1937 V16 Convertible Sedan. In my opinion, the Stamp model beltline is too low like it would have been flattened with an iron. Nevertheless it is nice.
In a few days I will post pictures with the V16 Matrix models for comparison.
And this is what the real car looks.
Looks pretty good to me, perhaps the convertible top is a bit too tall.....???? Those art-deco inspired skirt mounted hubcaps always bugged me (but that's just a personal thing ) yet it's hard to deny to overall reserve-elegance of this car, which I feel Stamp captured nicely. Nice color too.
I just received the Stamp model and think it is great. I look forward to seeing the Matrix model comparison from Nickles.
@chris You are right .......the rear portion of the up top is too tall and this is the same for the rear window compared to the pictures available of the 1:1. I think the top down version may look better.
