This one looks excellent ! In 1/43, I have a 1939 and 1941 Cadillac right now, and my 1940 edition is a 1/18 "Godfather" edition. Cadillacs of this era are very regal and impressive automobiles and the Stamp 1/43 model is a fine addition.
@mikedetorrice I have three 1/43 GLM 1941 Cadillacs all related to the Bugsy Movie. A Coupe, a Convertible Sedan and a Convertible Coupe. They are early GLM Models at their best with all chrome trim.
Looks great to me!
Just two comments:
1) I've seen countless 1940 Cadillacs with contrasting red rims.... I think some left the factory like that.... so, this is accurate? Anyone know for certain?
2) Does that Stamp rear bumper actually stick out that far? It appears a bit excessive.

Those GLM's would look excellent. The Cadillacs from this era were extremely impressive automobiles and a collection like these would be superb. The giant Cadillacs from then appeared in a number of movies, like the "Bugsy" one you mentioned and in others like "The Big Sleep", etc. There is a database of which particular cars appeared in what Hollywood movies called https://imcdb.org/movies.php

The 90 degree side shot shows it in the correct position. Must have slipped for some of the photos.

@chris Hi Chris, regarding contrast rims I have this book 'Cars of the Fascinating '40s' in which lots of different marques are documented as issuing models with contrasting rims - for the most part red - I seem to remember burnt orange, with blue bodywork on one occasion. Sorry I cannot be more specific but I don't have the book with me right now. I picture a 1941 Buick Sedanette by Western Models with the same red rims. (This is the only picture I have to hand - apologies again.)
