Oh, the cars are gorgeous and so are these replicas, but GM's decision to style those interiors that way makes a maniac out of me!! 😬 😡 😠
Why anyone would think door panels & seats need not match is beyond me. Evidently consumers agreed because I don't think GM ever did this again. 😏

Excellent question. To be honest, I'm not 100% certain.... my pea-brain tells me that it may have been. I can't recall seeing this miss-match-set-up used on any seat color other than white. 🤔 🤔 🤔

I'm not a fan of those big GM cars or any cars from '75 because of those ugly big bumpers, but I got to say that model looks OUTSTANDING !!
The model looks so perfectly replicated. It has those gorgeous Buick wheels and w/w's, side marker lights, the black bumper rub strips and what appears to be a very delicate hood ornament !

This sort of duplicates the NEO 1974 Buick convertible in red. I have been hoping for an 8th generation Riviera built from 1995 to 1999.

Correct. Right down to the incorrectly colored door and rear side panels that the NEO’s had. They should be the seat color (White in this instance).

A google search of this car shows some with the white seats and some without. I wonder if it was an option??

The mis-match door panels are NOT a mistake. In 1975 GM actually designed these interiors this way. As I noted above, it never made any sense to me. 🙄 😯 🙄
