Allow me to be 100% clear: These pics are used for illustration purposes only - I'm NOT "bashing" anyone or anything; I'm merely stating an opinion.
You'll recall that Stamp's '60 Eldo was criticized a bit because many (including me ) believed the rear quarters, before the taillights, did not taper down enough - they appeared a bit too wide, too thick. To further illustrate this, please compare this Gemini mock-up, utilizing actual photographs, to Stamp's prototype.
IMO, the criticisms were (are ) NOT valid; it appears Stamp got it right - or - "close enough." I'm a bit surprised, in a good way! 😀 😀
Again, just making a point - there's NO doubt Stamp's 1/43 1960 Cadillac Eldorado will be a great success.
So which is which - are there real ones, real 1/43rds, and ai-generated fake 1/43? I seriously can't tell. 🙄
My Stamp model is due to be delivered tomorrow. Thanks for the pictures and writeup Chris.
Stamp have outdone themselves with this model in these two beautiful colors!
@chris That would explain the white roof on the Persian Sand metallic one.
