This is one of my favourite 1/43 Franklin Mint models. I see that you have two. Great images. Thanks Galen.

A favorite of mine as I had a 1963  1/1 in Avanti Gold. I have Avanti models in 1/43, 1/24 and 1/18 scales. Loved the pictures Galen.

This is one I actually avoided. Besides the large shutlines, the overall shape looked off somehow. Lots of makers have had a problem getting the Avanti's shape just right. I finally settled on the Automodello resin model in turquoise metallic.

The FM looks good, but that Automodello color is hard to beat!  Here is part of a real one in the South Bend, Indiana, museum!

I love the color on my 1/43 Buby!
