Suddenly, it's 1960! (Pics galore)
Forward Look was a design theme employed by Virgil Exner in styling during the mid-1950s through 1961 Chrysler Corporation vehicles. Chrysler introduced the first generation of Forward Look vehicles in 1955.
In 1957, the second generation Forward Look cars appeared. Because the cars looked so futuristic, Chrysler employed the tagline "Suddenly, it's 1960!" While the cars were indeed beautiful, their quality was subpar because they were rushed to the market. Ironically, a few years after 1957, the new(ish) and expensive second generation Forward look cars were selling worse than their predecessors.
Nonetheless, these cars sure look great rendered in 1/43. I hope that you enjoy the below pictures.
Great! Who made the Imperial?
Conquest

Any 1/43rds out there?
The attack of the red squares has come again! Egads!
But this post still looks O.K. to me-so far.
Not any more--so frustrating.
Ed, that's a 1956 Imperial with the famous "sparrow strainer tail lights." USA Models made a 2dr HT.
Dillon, nice collection, but isn't that Plymouth a 1958?
Yes indeed. Note that the Plymouth is labeled as a '58.
