A selection of US taxis, except for Checkers. Isuzu Oasis was also badge engineered as a Honda Odyssey.

...could it be? Is it possible? Several 1/43 4-door vehicles NOT fabricated by John..... I don't believe it! 😏 😲 😀 😏 😲 😀
I would rather ride in an Oasis than in an Odyssey.
Anyway, here three of my US cabs: Ford by Western Models, Olds by Durham (the black one is a special cab) and Nash by Motor City.

Very nice cab collection Ralf; the black one has the best fare rates I heard.
@ralf And there is a 1950 Chevrolet taxi by Solido. Someone likely has it but the whitewall tires and fender skirts have to go.

Ever the purist, John.
@jack-dodds Thanks, Jack. My father was a police officer, I think most of his passengers had their last free ride. 😉
@john-quilter Thanks for the tip, John. The Nash meanwhile has blackwalls...
Some of my other cabs, US and some European ones
BRK GMC, USA Models 1937 Chevy and BRK Packard.
The back row of the second pic shows two Rextoys Packards, Durham Olds, and two Altaya partwork cars, both 1936 Fords.
the black one in Montevideo Uruguay livery, the ivory / green in Chicago livery - so says Altaya.
The front row shows three Eligor 1932 Ford cabs, a Rextoys 1935 Ford, 1952 Mercedes Benz 170 in Berlin livery and two ca. 1955 SEAT (spanish FIAT)
in Madrid and Barcelona liveries.

Some Dinty Toys taxis - Austin FX3s and '57 Plymouths (NYC and Toronto).

Corgi Austin FX4, '59 Chevy, and '58 T-bird for Bermuda. Plus a French Dinky Peugeot 404.
GreenLight cabs from John Wick and Beverly Hills Cop
Ixo Ford Crown Vic and Motor City 1950 Ford
Oxford Austin Low-Loader and Premium X Linclon from Washington DC.

Tekno 220SE and USA Models 1940 Ford
I came here for the 1951 BRK cab, and was not disappointed. One of my favorite models (but I have a lot of favorite models).
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Someone must have the Vitesse 1946-48 Desoto. I sacrificed mine for some sort of conversion or Kagar transkit. But the top got used on this one.
