THANK YOU!-1/43rd & Automobilia Show

I want to thank everyone that participated in the The 1/43rd & Automobilia Show for all their efforts, help, support and camaraderie. Given the circumstances, I believe this weekend was an extraordinary testament to the bonds created by the love and passion we all share for this fantastic hobby of ours.

A special thank you and in no particular order to Don Anderson, Al Stack, Skip Johnson, Harvey Goranson, Tom Dirnberger, Charlie Barnett, John Kuvakas, Tom Kinney, Karl Schnelle, Randy Rusk, Norm Koepp, Mikhail Bashmashnikov, Jim Cowen, Jim Welytok, Bob Nuemann, Mike Wogronic, Rex Barrett, Valerie Parilli, Sue Fredrickson, Amanda Hookings, Greg Gunn, Mo Brown, and Frank Racibozynski.

I look forward to seeing you all at the next great model car event whenever and wherever that may be!

Sincerely,

Jeff

Well now I wish I had been there. I think those who attended had a good time and it was a strong start for the future. We 1/43 builders and collectors share a wonderful hobby and except for that darn virus, the future looks bright. I applaud all who made the trip. What a bunch of great guys.

The Saturday show was well run!

Every vendor I talked to was satisfied with the show and how it was promoted. Mr. Lane did a fine job and there was a great deal of enthusiasm on behalf of the people who came, a truly fine vibe in the air. Next year's will be even better!

I have some thanks to dole out too.

Thank you Jeff for putting on the show and arranging Saturday dinner. Were it not for the virus, I think it would have been bigger.

Special thanks to Greg Gunn for a quick foil repair on one of my models! And for the great prices on the four items I bought.

Thanks to Charlie Barnett for being a great table-neighbor and for making the Dinky Toy-Motor City deal. Hope you get (got?) home okay with all the travel shutdowns.

Thanks to John K for manning the Forum43 booth with all its goodies again.

Thanks to Tom Kinney for helping Forum43 by receiving a lot of the contributed items and being the focal point for Friday's dinner.

Thanks Frank for the gut bombs on Saturday. I was feeling a bit peckish until the burgers showed up.

And thanks to all the other vendors and friends who showed up. Somewhat astounding that Karl found FOOUR Alfas he did not have!

I actually came within a hair of cancelling the whole trip (I still have a draft e-mail on my computer from Friday morning). Time will tell, in the next couple of weeks, if my decision was a good one or not.
