First up is the Brooklin Chevrolet Bel-Air convertible. The donor model had paint damage so it was ideal for chopping around a bit to make it completely different from original.
A damaged ‘ 54 Dodge, (John’s least favourite Brooklin), was the source for the wheels, including the continental kit, and the rear body extension. The roof came from an old Solido Buick.
Next up is the Mercury Turnpike Cruiser which was started in 2009 when John sprayed the primer and Mick Cooling did the first etching out. It then got sort of overlooked for 17 years as other more pressing projects came along. It was only when a collector asked John to do a TPC that he remembered it! Here it is below the Bel-Airs

@jkuvakas The Mercury Turnpike Cruiser isn’t as that was a commission sorry. I think the Bel-Air is John’s own collection but I’ll ask him.

@jkuvakas I was thinking the same thing. Either one would look nice in a Brooklin in Illinois picture.

Good to hear from you Mike. Love the models. If the Chevy is for sale and John K. doesn't buy it, I might be interested.

@bob-jackman Too bad John did not make more of the Chevys, he would likely sell them all. I would also buy one.
