The 1946 Pontiac Torpedo is on the brooklin's site but there are 0 model in stock but it seem that we can preorder?? Does that mean that other Pontiac will be made soon and when? If it was not the case it seems for me that the model would be simply out of stock like the 1963 Buick in Bronze for example? Speaking about the Buick there are 5 models available now on the site for the one in White.
I understand they plan to make another 40 sometime soon. That is why they are taking pre-orders. The model has been highly successful. You might consider joining the club and getting the 10% off.Â

I emailed one person, and got a very friendly reply, and I was a BCC member in a very short 24 hours FOR FREE!
Then I was able to order the Pontiac which was delivered in 4 days from my order and it came from England, and got 10% off!
Why are collectors resisting this fantastic offer?...... It really couldn't be any simpler folks.
I just come to preorder. I want to stop to collect and I'm not able. You got me with the pictures and the video. Now I will eat potatoes and Kraft diner for Christmas.
@michel-lemieux LOL! You have potatoes! I have to live off ramen noodles!! 😊

The price of pasta has increased by 40% in Canada. So i must even cut on the noodles 😊Â
@michel-lemieux Tough decision Michel...starvation by food or starvation by model.
I've come to appreciate the taste of packing chips. They're good with ketchup and free with each model received in the mail. It's a healthy, filling alternative and economic compromise.....basically a win-win.
I understand Michel's point. Even with the discount, it's about a CDN $500 model at his door in Quebec which is a lot. He can spend the same money on 3 Goldvarg, GLM or Stamp models.

Have you tried the cardboard shipping boxes Jack? they aren't bad if you let them soak in water first....they tend to be on the dry side if you don't soak them first though.
@ben-lampson Thanks for the tip Ben! I see we're on the same wave length.
@nickies Indeed. I am presently at 465 cnd for the Pontiac and i have not pay the custom charges etc. I don't look forward to see and pay this amount in extra. So it is even more that 500 dollars. The 10% discount to get just a model don't give me a lot unfortunately. Now also there is no more sellers of new Brooklin models at my knowledge so it is hard to ask at a cie instead of a unique seller can you declare less than the real price to save me as much as possible de customs fees in Canada. I will start to check more the resin models and buy a few older Brooklin on the secondary market. I think this is now my way.
Simon told me that the 1946 Pontiacs are mostly built. They are just waiting for some plating to arrive to finish them.
He think they will be ready in January. I am impatient to have it but in mean while it is for me better to get it after the frenzy of Christmas.
