Continuing with my DeSoto models and I'll stick w/the 1955 year for 1 more post.
The 1st model is a very nice 1955 Fireflite Convertible, a LE #08 of 10, issued by Conquest Models via Route 66 Models in Surf White & Carnival Red
the 2nd is one I posted previously; these are updated photos giving the model a fresh look.

Both are beautiful cars and models of them. One could almost expect to see Groucho or George Fenneman behind the wheel saying, "Drive a DeSoto ...Then Decide !"

Was "DeSoto" ever the secret word...? Or am I getting too old and mixing that up with another TV show ?

The '55 is my fave DeSoto of that decade. I love how the trim separates the colors.

The 55 DeSoto is also my favorite for the paint divide. I have both of these models but my hardtop is light blue/white and convertible is red/black.

JK and I give our blue ribbon personal guarantee (which is every bit as credible as our rear bumper-to-B pillar 100% time sensitive *warranty attached to the 1 HP Trabant SS Demi-coupe) that this years proposed Trabant restomod will surpass the **buzz created by last years prize.
* Veterinarian bills guaranteed exclusive
** Crowd excitement....as opposed to the noise of circle flies frequenting the "rear seal" of last year's "engine".
