Ok, just to set the stage for how badly I wanted to attend…and fate tried to stop me…here’s how my day started. I grabbed some breakfast before leaving Fort Wayne and one of my molars crumbled - not to the point of pain, but half my tooth is gone. I think I ate at least some of it. Then, just as I got on the 80/90 toll road, something caught my back tire, instantly flattening it. So I’m changing a tire in the rain, 40 degrees, semis roaring by. But I made it and sure glad I did! Lots of great new stuff to check out and people to meet.
Our host Jeff Lane had several of his Ford wagons assembled and ready for purchase. If you want one, don’t wait. They are a really, really limited production.
He also previewed a hearse that’s coming next year. It’s an unreleased Motor City, with some touches by Pete Kenna, and it’ll come out under Jeff’s Second City Motors banner.
Then, of course, there were the celebrity sightings! Sergio Goldvarg, Al Stack, Greg Gunn, Tom, Mikail, Jim Cowan, Buz… basically everybody who is anybody in this hobby…plus John’s gracious wife!
And there’s all the regulars, too. Tom, John, and Skip all ran the Brooklin table (and got me to join the club) and many other familiar faces.
Looks like a wonderful show Randy. I'm sorry that you went through so much hassle to get there, and good luck with getting that tooth repaired.
This is a show that I would really like to attend but living in Canada a hundred miles north of Toronto, is not an easy trip in March. Thanks for all the great images.
David: Here's a show coming up in Toronto that is mostly 1/43 scale and is worth attending. It hasn't been run for the past 2 years do to covid. I went in 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed it. You might recall that CTCS had Brooklin make special edition show collectibles for many years.

The Bugattis are by B&G models (Mikhail Bashmashnikov). I did not catch the maker name of the Mercedes, but he also had these at Allentown in November, where I bought one of the Type 59s.
Good to see all the photos, lots of great shots of good people and some very interesting models. I am really interested in the Chrysler Cordoba models. They look like they are by GLM?
I was looking forward to making the trip, unfortunately with my eye problems, that wasn't possible. All is so much better now, almost back to normal for most things.
