“The Board is proud to announce we will induct Jack Dodds into the Diecast Hall of Fame.
Jack Dodds is an invaluable member of our community, consistently uplifting others with encouragement, kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Jack fosters a sense of belonging, actively listen to others’ needs, and contributes positivity and collaboration in his interactions. His generosity, thoughtfulness, and selflessness are so inspiring and really demonstrate the best things about our community here.
We have been wanting to nominate and induct some members into the Hall of Fame, and we can think of no better way to start than this after witnessing such amazing community spirit.”

Sorry to ask but who is he? There is no information in his avatar about his contribution to the hobby and where is he from.
I hope some will clarify.
@nickies, Jack is a strong and frequent contributor on several of our forums and has been for many years. He is also a veteran collector, a talented writer, one who constantly encourages rather than complains, and a member who uses his actual name. We can all learn a lot from Jack.

Congratulations Jack. You are an excellent choice. I cannot think of a more suitable candidate in a long list of wonderful contributors to this website.
Congratulations, Jack and a quite deserved honor !
Thinking about people contributing here, the BCC Facebook page, and Brooklin and SMTS Collective Facebook page are there any other Hall of Fame Members? The only one I can think of is Mo Brown. If you are not in the Hall of Fame, you should be.

@ed-davis, thanks for your kind comments. Ed. I was inducted into the Model Car Hall of Fame in 2023. But that's a different venue than the Zone's HoF..

Maybe it is just me with an interest in geography but many of our members have never added to their profile their location on the globe. I always find it interesting to see where folks hail from. Go ahead and update your profiles.
