Theres something about the look of this image.....Pete Kenna

Once again, I found a Kenna model that just blows me away. I am also a collector of automobile and truck sales brochures. One day, while paging through a British MG TD prestige catalog, there was a picture that stopped me in my tracks.
A Black MG TD with the top up and the side curtains in place is sitting in the rain, in front of a fountain in most probably a small village. This may be the town square, but the look and feel of the scene just put me in another time and place. I got Pete Kenna to make this exact car. He already had this model in his line, I just wanted a Black one. Here it is, my favorite MG model.

Even though I sold my European brochures, a few years ago, I kept my British cars, and my French favorite, Citroen.

I have the green one.

I too liked it for the side curtains. Very few models have been made this way. I have a Vitesse Morgan with curtains and top down (for sunny days when it's still too chilly). Both Corgi and Vitesse did TR3s with top and side curtains. But most impressive is the EMC Bugatti Royale with simulated "eisenglass" for inclement weather.

This would be standard attire on an MG resident in the UK.
