A 79 degrees here in Richmond, Virginia, it’s time to lower the top on my Brooklin ‘56 Buick Century convertible.
- Actual car is a Special (note three holes.)
Like with many of your Buicks Century convertibles ordered, mine arrived with both mirrors broken off in shipment as they are very fragile. Brooklin immediately sent me replacements but as these are so vulnerable I don’t plan to install them at least for now. The car is beautiful and the top up/top down feature makes the car drivable in any weather just like the actual Buick Century convertible.

Nice to see you took the time to put the boot in place and snap all the snaps.

Yup, there are 19 of those pesky little snaps and the boot fits perfectly as does the top. This really is a nice model. (I wonder if the actual boot had 19 snaps. Seems like it would have an even number!)

Definitely true, surprising they let that get by them, could see that happening on one or two models so hopefully not all have this problem!
Tough call, on some pics, it looks higher, on others...
Exactly, John. Lol, next, I might expect someone will point out, "Hey, with this item, it's only 1 - 43rd the size of the real car !" Hmmmm, I wonder what a full-scale 1956 Buick Century would weigh if fabricated entirely out of white metal !
