Today's diecast 7/7/21

Just received this Kado model No. KT-18. Kado had an agreement with Tomica around 1980 (give or take a year) to make special decorations on Tomica's Dandy series of 1/43 diecasts, mainly the VW Beetle, VW Van, and Citroen H van. There was a series of Beetles issued in the police force liveries of various countries, in this case Holland with 'Politie' markings. 

I tried using hobbydb to examine other variants but it's a bit of a mess, with Kado and Tomica smushed together, sometimes using Tomica numbers and sometimes Kado numbers. Making things worse is that there was a concurrent series of Porsches and Japanese cars made by Kado themselves.
