Took the plunge - first resin model..

My first model in resin, as opposed to diecast, purely because it was a model that I really liked. It's a 1038 Ford Eifel (a development of the British Ford C 10 horsepower) made in 1/43 by Neo. Costing around ?50 when first released, there was no way I could justify paying that amount. The model has since been reduced in Europe and the American tradition of "Black Friday" sales has caught on very quickly over the last few years, as a result this one was less than half the new price. The general outline and proportions look very good, capturing the dumpy lines of this small saloon very well, grille, light and badging details are neat and well done. All in all a nice wee model. I believe Walldorff made a white metal version many years ago.photo no longer available

Congratulations, Donald! This is a very nice German Ford...

and much better than Walldorf's white metal kit which I had years ago.
