While rummaging through some vast amounts of treasures, I discovered some of our 1955 Kaiser Darrin Parade Phaetons. They had survived a move to Germany, and then a return move to Apple Valley. Originally built in 1990, I am reluctant to ship these through the mail, as I don’t know how they will survive old glue. I will have these at the Countryside show next Sunday, or at my room in the Best Western on Saturday.
I and my nephew had started work on the Imperial Parade Phaeton of 1956. More about that in a later post. We saw a quicker way to production of a model based on the drawing in Richard Langworth’s book Last onslaught on Detroit, and our own 1/43 scale Darrin model.
Please stop by Dale’s table and have a look.
I don't have the phaeton, but . . . nah, I'm out of room on that shelf. Thanks for the good pictures, Dim.
