Yes it is Tim. In many ways, IMO, that "$50.00" Franklin Mint 1956 Starfire (which you can be had for $20 on secondary sites) looks better, plus the hood & doors open (the trade-off for those "gappy seems").  Then you have these Road Champs 1/43 1955 Oldsmobile Starfires (doors & trunk open)....that one can find for about $5.00.  With minor modification, a hardtop can be fabricated.

Olds Road Champs 143 no top
Olds Road Champs 143 w top
Olds Road Champs 143 w top 2

@frank Thats a motor city. Apparently only a very small amount were made in that colour. I suspect it would cost me quite a bit more to find a similar one.

And with even more modification on the Road Champs a four door hardtop,  using the roof of a GFCC Buick.   Not to worry,  the Buick became a convertible.

Top to bottom.  Also showing an Esval and a Provence Moulage built kit.

@john-quilter That 4-door hardtop turned out VERY nice indeed! Pirating that Buick was a great idea. Well done sir.
