Thanks John, this triggered a thought about the 1954 Packard NABCC club car.
Anyone have any info?

@moe-parr You would have to ask the current leadership of NABCC or go to their Facebook page. Both John and I are no longer involved and they have unfortunately cut off our access to their Facebook page. I have heard that they plan to do a Packard with another company (not Brooklin), probably in resin. Brooklin will continue to develop their own version and make it available after the factory is back up and running.
@karl. I sure hope that you are wrong Karl. I did not pay $258 US for a resin car. If you are correct, why would they do this without first consulting the members who purchased it?I expect a 1954 Packard Caribbean from Brooklin/NABCC and will not accept any substitutes. I don't understand why Brooklin has proceeded first with the 1946 Pontiac when they know that NABCC members prepaid for the 1954 Packard back in March of this year. I have received no communication from NABCC about the status of this model and yet they have had our money since last March. I am starting to feel uneasy about this club.
@kenspear You and several others are having their doubts Ken. Several of us applied for and received refunds. I am surprised they did not contact you, but they have announced all this on Facebook. The NABCC, since it no longer has Brooklin's support, has offered to replace the BRK with their own '54 Packard and a '54 Corvette, both planned to be made by Automodello. My hunch is that Jim Cowen/Diecasm will also sell these, assuming they get produced at all. Time will tell.
If you send me your email address, I will forward you the email I received from NABCC. So far I have not asked for a refund. The email is not that nice.

@kenspear Yes, sorry you did not hear about this directly from Brian of the NABCC. We no longer have any affiliation with the NABCC. I heard that he has sent out emails to certain folks and probably missed several members. If you want a refund of the existing Brooklin Packard order, please deal directly with Brian Vaill and Emile Henault of the NABCC.
The new factory space looks very good. I hope they are fully up and running soon.
@kenspear While I got a long winded and rambling explanation from them, I received a courteous and prompt refund when it was requested.
I'm in the same boat, I paid for it back in March and I'm not interested in something else. Any help with how to ask for a refund would be greatly appreciated!

Work on the Brooklin Caribbean is moving forward as scheduled. It was in the production schedule behind the Torpedo. Tom, Karl, and I are compiling a list of those who ordered the NABCC model and subsequently asked for a refund. Brooklin will give priority treatment to those who canceled their original orders.
