70 Plymouth Road Runner (Matchbox)

70 Plymouth GTX (Matchbox)

Plymouth developed the Road Runner to market a lower-priced, basic trim model to its upscale GTX. The Plymouth Road Runner was named Motor Trend Car of the Year for 1969.

The Plymouth GTX is an automobile introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967. It was positioned as a mid-size upscale-trimmed performance muscle car through the 1971 model year.

Some of my favorite styling of the era. These Mopars looked leaner and less bulky than their Ford and GM counterparts.

Something up to date in our scale would be great.

Isn't Brooklin releasing some 70's Mopar muscle? I think either the Challenger or Cuda? or both?

That will be interesting because SMTS has versions of both the Challenger and Cuda,......and Brooklin and SMTS are the same company now.

Will Brooklin use the SMTS tooling?

we will find out!
