This post in my Brooklin in Illinois series features the NB Center 1967 Buick Wildcat 4-door hardtop in Burgundy Mist Poly and a Black roof (NBC208). The background photo continues the theme of using a scene along the original US Route 66. The Berghoff Restaurant, opened in 1898, is one of Chicago's oldest continuously operating restaurants. It is located near the original starting point of US Route 66 in downtown Chicago. Special thanks to Tom Kinney for letting me borrow his model for the photo.

Another outstanding image, Ed. The Berghoff, no less.

What a history depicted here. A longtime restaurant and a sadly forgotten member of the GM Family. Beautifully composed shot.

I absolutely LOVE Brooklin's '67 Buick Wildcat and have 2-and 4-door hardtops,

2 colors of each body style.

I appreciate the many enhancements in the NB edition but I never understood the rear wheel-opening moldings above the fender skirts. They wouldn't have come that way from the factory. The molding should be on the bottom of the skirt, not the top.

Regardless, a gorgeous model in a great setting!

I'll bet ya dollars to donuts, the owner of that GORGEOUS Buick, stopped off there in the middle of Adams St., to get a Reuben sandwich.

Fabulous photo!
