More of something sometimes is just better. The ‘58 Chevrolets are among my favorite cars of all time. While I have several Brooklin ‘58 Impalas, I wrote to Santa requesting one more. Not asking why, Santa came through. This one’s another beauty and when I opened it, it looked especially nice. Something was a bit different. Can you tell what the difference is? It took me a bit to spot what made it different.

@jcarnutz is

Ha! John, and now Larry, you win the prize! The previous owner must have replaced the larger tires used by Brooklin until at some point they went to smaller tires more proportional to the car. The ‘58 Chevrolet Yeoman wagon that was released some years after the Impala also has the smaller tires that are in better proportion to both cars.

The thinner whitewalls are definitely more period correct.
