This "house arrest" is making me look into storage areas perhaps better left locked away. Today I found a really fine box with two T-Birds inside.

That did it! Now you know who made these: Hallmark! Yes, these are Christmas ornaments, boxed and sold for the 2005 holidays. The "50th" definition is evident, but the 2005 version even has that designation, according to Hallmark, on the front quarter. I'll try . . .

And there is a nice Maisto late Thunderbird in 43rd scale mine is yellow with a fixed hardtop. Any other colors?

Brooklin did a special limited edition in Buckskin Tan. The Sunset Coral one is one I bought on eBay that was damaged and I restored it and changed the color to Sunset Coral. Brooklin did several other colors as well.

Looks like one of the matchbox models made using Vitesse moulds. Anyone know for sure?

While Matchbox Collectibles reissued several Vitesse models, this isn't one of them.
When Matchbox acquired the Dinky name one of their 30+ original castings was a '55 T-Bird.
