This is a YouTube video of a gentleman opening a box of diecast cars from his father's estate.

It is well done and shows a wonderful cross section of models available fro the 1960s to 1980s. Lots of great 1/43 and a few aircraft.

David, thank you for sharing. I enjoyed seeing those model cars and airplanes.

Unboxing or untissuing? Note to our members: I own or have owned almost all of the cars and can tell you many have nonoriginal additional decals on them. And the green Politoys Dino Pininfarina is perhaps a repaint. A shame the original boxes were gone.

I was a bit apalled at the rough handling these 50+ year old toys got as they were unravelled.

But these are all the very rare variants, all made to 1/42 scale!
