Big Shady, welcome to the world of 1:43 models.  When I started, about thirty years ago, Solido and Rextoys were my standards, soon enlarged to embrace Buby's Collector's Classics series.  And then my favorite (and only local) dealer started handling Brooklins.  From my first one, the Canadian-built Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow, Brooklin's quest for quality increased with, it seems, every issue.  Of course, it also seems, so did the prices!  Anyhow, to hold and examine a Brooklin of the last few years is a true experience in appreciating models of our chosen scale.  There are some other fine ones out there, but Brooklin stands out.  Enjoy!    David H

Brooklyn is kind of crowded....I would rather live in Manhattan.

Another great video John, of another model that I have and love.

Great video review of this awesome Buick Roadmaster, John ! What a wonderful automobile for real and here in Brooklin's 1/43 jewel of a replica.

Hi folks!

Finally pulled the trigger on this beautiful gem of a model - and at 99 Euros, how could I possibly go wrong?

Maybe I‘ll add some chrome around the windshield, and do some detailing on the interior once it gets here, but to me, it is awesome as is.

Tom

An outstanding model. I've had this one since it was issued.

One of Brooklin's finest IMO. One correction...the engine was a straight eight rather than a V eight which didn't come to Buick until 1953 in the Super and Roadmaster series. Excellent review  John.

Doh! Of course, you're correct. Sometimes I get excited and don't stop to think. Thanks, Bob.
