Great review as always John. I bought this one about a year ago.I agree that the hubcaps look small.I changed the colour of the outside of the wheel rims from black to red. It makes the wheel rim look larger and takes away that small look of the hubcaps. I would like to see more 1961-65 Pontiacs represented. The Chevs ,Olds, and Buicks are represented but only one Pontiac (1965).I hope Brooklin does their upcoming '61 Pontiac also in convertible form.
1965 Chevrolets are such beautiful cars and this is a fine overview of this excellent convertible model.
Thanks for the review. I have Brooklin's pink 1965 Chevrolet convertible. Though not a factory color, it is also a beautiful model.

@ed-davis, Thanks! I think the pink one is the best of the lot, so far. They did a great job on the interior on that one with more detail than the original, which wasn't bad to start with.

@jkuvakas Just imagine it with green interior.......perfection!
Red is perfect for the 65 Impala Convertible IMO. Btw, did you know that they sold over a MILLION of these 65 Chevys?!!!! Lol. I just found this out the other day.......
@jack-dodds, you are a veritable cornucopia of information!

@jack-dodds, note: that was over 1 million Impalas for 1965. It really is an incredible record.

How about a 1965 Caprice with black vinyl top. First year for the Caprice name (which was an upgrade on the Impala) and all were four door hardtops. And I believe first use of the 396CID engine and Turbo 400 gearbox in a Chevy sedan? Mist blue metallic seemed to be a common color.

@jkuvakas Yes that's right.....amazing record. There were very many Bel Air and plainer series sold that year too.

@jkuvakas So you're calling me a turkey with the mind of a vegetable then? Fair enough...I've been called worse.
