Yes, one of the guys on a Ford fb page brought that up. I think Goldvarg has made the appropriate change on his website.

This is not a 1/43 1958 Ford Fairlane 4-door sedan...it NEVER could be. This is a 1958 Ford Custom 300 4-door sedan.
The word "F A I R L A N E" should not appear anywhere on this model.

@dirn I SUPPOSE TO MAKE THE MODEL COMPLETELY CORRECT i OUGHT TO REMOVE THE fAIRLANE SCRIPT FROM THE REAR QUARTERS. I WONDER IF THAT CAN BE DONE WITHOUT DAMAGING THE PAINT FINISH?

Your car is a 1958 Ford Custom 300 4 door Sedan and it's CORRECTLY replicated; you'll note the omission of a "Fairlane" script.

- Yes, it needs to go.
- I suspect that script is UNDER the gloss-cote and would therefore leave a conspicuous blemish if removed.

well explained. A little more info is that Ford still used the words from the Model T: fordor for a four door and Tudor for the two door sedan.

Thanks, but YOU deserve all the credit (I still can't believe that got by me 😬).
- And yes, "Tudor & Fordor" are correct but for me that's really a matter of semantics; I'm so used to saying, "2-dr hardtop," that I phrase all body styles in this fashion.
