Another outstanding review John; thank you. Although I'm a 2dr. body style guy, this little Comet is a must have for me.
@jack-dodds, I've only seen pictures of the gray one but it looks stunning with the red interior.

@jkuvakas That red interior would make the silver grey pop for sure but I'm going with the aqua/white 2-tone because it is so representative of that era. I hope Sergio eventually does the '62, 63 and 65 Comet in the same body style he is doing the '64 Caliente this year; I would buy every one. Same would go for Fairlane for that matter...lol.
Very nice video. I did not know about the Edsel connection to this car. I am glad you mentioned that.

Excellent video. A wonderful little model. I love mine, the grey one is on its way. I hope to have it soon.

Another exquisite replica by Goldvarg of this neat Edsel/Mercury Comet. Great subject matter yet again from Sergio and wonderfully discussed and videoed here. (yet again !)
Another fantastic model from Goldvarg, and to John K, your videos are really top notch....you not only show the model off fantastically, you give a history lesson on the 1:1 car.
Your videos are superb and are anxiously awaited for John.
Well done, John. My father-in-law owned a similar 1:1. Nice car (nicer daughter!)
Thank you, gentlemen.

Well before Goldvarg's outstanding item, I built this 1960 Comet wagon, a replica of a family car owned from 1960 to 1966. Used two diecast Trax models as donor cars for this effort. That was back when Trax models were affordable.

Nice model. I hope Goldvarg do a wagon as well.
@john-quilter Another magical transformation. Many artists in this club!
And thanks Sergio for sedans and wagons, the practical cars that filled so many driveways. I want SS Impalas, Ferrari 250s, and Derby Bentleys on my shelves but I also like the everyday cars that give my collection the sense of a slice of history sitting on the wall.
OK John, you convinced me...I just ordered this one from Legacy Diecast!
