Very well done John, thank you. I got the Chateau Mauve color and am very pleased with it.
These are another set of excellent Cadillac models. Great review.

Thanks for another great review. Regarding your comment about the aluminum paint for some of the side trim - I do not have a problem with it. I only have one Stamp model, a 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood, which was a pre-production model at Chicago/Countryside show. I believe the rocker panel trim is aluminum paint. It looks good, and I do not have to worry about the glue not holding.

A fine video review of this excellent 1/43 Cadillac replica. It definitely looks great and has been beautifully done here.
John, I agree this 1969 Cadillac is a winner, but I'm compelled to comment on those tires. Sadly, MOST replicas of 1967-1970 Cadillacs NEVER really have the correct tires and these Stamp Cadillacs are no exception.
To be 100% accurate, 1969 Cadillacs tires should feature "double-band" white walls. That is how ALL 1969 Cadillacs left the factory. Again, RARELY are these unique tires duplicated correctly.
Certainly not a deal-breaker; the model is excellent, but I'd give it a "4" for wheels & tires. Just my two cents.........
Thanks, Chris. I had completely forgotten about those tires. But your pictures brought those memories back. I was enchanted by them. I thought they were so exotic!

No problem John. I think many folks have forgotten these 1966-1970 "special tires." The closest any manufacture came to replicating them is when PM produced that 1/18 1966 Cadillac hearse/ambulance series. I can't say I've ever seen them on 1/43 Cadillacs.
John, I have a question about this model. Watching your video, I did not see an antenna on the car or the location of a retracted antenna. My Stamp 1968 Fleetwood also does not have this. Is this something missing on the model or did Cadillac do something different to receive radio signals? it is not an important issue for me, just a bit of curiosity.

"...I did not see an antenna on the car or the location of a retracted antenna..."
I'm not that John but: from model year 1956 on, Cadillac power antennas retracted flush with the (front) fender top. Correctly, only a chrome or chrome and black escutcheon was visible with the antenna retracted. The model companies are misinterpreting this.
Trivia: the '69 Coupe de Ville brochure photo above contains a rather infamous error. They photographed a styling model that depicted a de Ville/Calais four-door hardtop on its left side. Note the C-pillar angle(s).
John S, yes quite correct on those antennas. You got me on that brochure though!
Amazing.... I've been looking at these brochures since I was a kid...and NEVER noticed that MAJOR oversight... Amazing! 🙄 🙄 😮 😮 😯 😯
