I just returned from Auburn Indiana for the big car auction and really noticed some changes due to the economy as far as real car and toy car collecting.People are scared to spend unless they can steal it.Many guys that I have dealt with in the past are turning from 1/43 to Danbury Mint because of the bang for the buck and going to cheaper models although there is a remnent of loyal collectors.I am talking with a group of guys and we are considering starting a company here in the US making resin and white metal models. These will all be made in the USA and available in small numbers.
