Very sad news. My condolences to Dick's family
I only knew Dick by this fantastic forum and he always was a very friendly gentleman with me. His passion on our hobby is an example. The best way to respect him is continuing living our passion for modelcars in the same way as him. Maybe the best of his legacy is job on this forum with the chance to have made a lot of new collectors friends.

So sorry to hear this news.
Whilst I only 'met' him a couple of times via eMail, like everyone else here I benefited from Dick's knowledge on the forum and through the 'Special Brooklins' and 'Standard Brooklins' books he contributed to. I refer to them often!

Frank, love the "family photo" at bottom! Any chance of captioning it?
As a member of the Forum, I am sure that I have corresponded and traded comments with these folks for years. It would be really nice to put a name to a face. Many thanks.

Great suggestion. When people are shown in group photos many of us who do not make it to events may have no idea who is who.

Harv, I think Randy Rusk took the group picture. I'm positive that's a sliver of your distinguished profile in the lower right corner. When I was assigned as a PIO in the Army, I always wanted to be sure that the photographers got their proper credit.

You are right Frank - that probably is my "sliver" lower right.
I'd forgotten Randy was there and I couldn't find the pics in my files, so I'm sure credit goes to Randy.
