Victory 1942 De Soto
More than 10 years ago, I produced my last model. It was a Victory 1942 De Soto Custom Fifth Avenue Club Coupe and Convertible. I felt I could not compete with the Chinese any longer. I thought it would be a good idea to compare this older model with the new Brooklin, because they are both the same two-tone of Beige and Brown. I think the colors are a little softer on the Victory, because we had access to different types of paint, where as today, it looks like there is a clearcoat on the actual car, which is in the Bulgari collection. I am not finding any fault with the Brooklin, just a comparison of then and now. I intend to purchase the Brooklin, The photos have come out, but I need the help of John Kuvakas to resize. Thanks John. If you can followup with a photo of the Brooklin.

The detail in your chrome is exquisite. An incredibly beautiful model.
Beautiful model Ray - thanks for posting
Super model Ray!
Very nice! I had hoped BRK's latest would have been a coupe.
Jack, I can appreciate your wish for a coupe. Perhaps Brooklin will do a coupe in the future.
As I stated in an earlier post, since I already have the coupe and convertible from Ray, the four door from Brooklin will fit into my collection nicely. For those not familiar with Ray's models they are right up there with the best ever offered regardless of manufacturer.
I was unfamiliar with Victory Models; thank you for this.
Absolutely agree with Bob. I often used large pics of Victory cars on my book covers ....because their detail was so good and their finishing and accuracy was top drawer. They just looked so appetizing.
That is a gorgeous model. I am also unfamiliar with Victory. I don't believe I have ever seen one.

Curtis I also have the Suburban in blue. It is the only post war model I have from Ray as it seemed to me that most of his models were of pre war cars.
