Victory Models - in general, what are they worth in mint condition?
Depends on the particular model. Buicks are not worth much. Nashes are probably the most valuable...
The other cars fall somewhere in between.
Why do you ask?
Are you talking about the early 50s British plastic models??...(PIC)
I have a few relatively large plastic (with metal trim)models of Austins, Triumphs, Vauxhalls, Morris etc., made by VICTORY MODELS in Britain, that were considered quite advanced models in their day...probably about 1/18 scale. Oh, yeah, they also made a Conveyancer Fork-lift model.
The company unfortunately used acetate plastic so many of the bodies and windows have warped a bit over the years..much like early promos.
Dillon - I see a nice Checker taxi I like but have no idea if the price is right.
Link / eBay item number / or picture please?

No. Diecast by CCC France.
LaFamilia was a slightly less detailed version of VMs. This one is probably a $125-$150 model.
They can go for more though. Victory Models were very well finished but delicate. Go for it Mark!
They're actually resin.
Nash
Don't know the value but I have the LaFamilia 1947 Nash Ambassador Trunk back sedan. A definite keeper. If you find one in good condition go for it,very nice detail. I imagine the Ambassador woodie is the value leader.
The Checker sold for a very reasonable $82.
That is an impressive collection Clifford and ....
interesting that the Austin is LHD.

Great picture of great classics - read about them long ago in Model Collector but never seen any!
