Dear friends, an up-to-date of the votes regarding the color choice for the 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint.
The votes includes this forum, collector friends, Goldvarg Facebook page, different scale model collectors Facebook pages, etc)
Until today at 7. 27 PM, the results are as follows:
1. TUCSON YELLOW = 135 votes
2. WHITE = 99 votes.
Most of the Tucson Yellow voters , said they prefer red interior instead of black.
On June 7 I will do the final vote count. The collectors will decide.
With my very best regards,
Sergio
Sergio, was the yellow Falcon offered with red interior? That sounds odd to me.
I think yellow/red seats would be all wrong. Go with black.
Online photos will bear this out.
But if you go with white, either red or blue seats would look great.
Dear Jack Dodds, I don't think it came with red interior. Regards!
Dear Harvey Grandson, I totally agree with you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
It was rare to find yellow with anything other than an all-black interior in the 60s.
I don't often like dark interiors on models becsuse it makes details harder to see, but I'd rather go with authenticity. Besides, yellow and black was really popular in the mid 60s and is a great 'period' combo
The Ford Falcon is a fine-looking car. I think any and all of these interior/exterior combinations would look wonderful and there is always room for more and different combos in the future, too !
As a full scale car guy of 60s cars, I've always prefered a ...
lighter color interior (Unless the car was white).
I agree. Yellow with black interior. White car with red or blue interior.
Sergio, I meant to ask you earlier...the red color selected for the other
Falcon...is that rangoon red or heritage burgundy poly? Thanks!

Jack Dodds I have to give you credit...
for being able to tell the difference in different reds.
I just checked the 63 Falcon color chart on line. Lots of info there.
Hmmm...If I'm a grandson, can I inherit your collection?
Not to mention a particular bat-black car....
