For the 1974 model year, Volkswagen introduced the Passat. For the U.S. it would be called the Dasher Here is a ‘75 wagon in Rallye Yellow in 1:43 by Minichamps as it compares to the actual car.

Thanks, Bob. It’s fun to find actual cars after which our little cars are modeled. Couldn’t resist posting one more Dasher comparison.

Schuco made the Passat sedan and wagon, and the Audi 80 (Fox?).
