Thanks, Lloyd, as I've never seen the Guardian. As a boy in a small town, the only hearses I knew of were Henney-bodied Packards. The local funeral home operators were family friends.

David, I have seen many an ambulance in many cities but never a "Guardian" anywhere. They started at $15,000 in 1960, then $16,000+ in 1961 and back to about $15,500 in '62 then were discontinued.
Those that were sold may have been in colder climates, as that rear hood would serve no purpose in, say, southern California.
