I'll admit...
...there was more than a little anxiety in letting go of a collection I'd spent 40 years (and countless dollars) assembling. But I couldn't be happier with the end result. It actually feels like a weight has been lifted.
Now, what to do with the thousands of other fire engines, hearses, stations wagons, show cars, etc... 🙂

Very good of you Randy. Elkhart is a very nice city to visit, and holds an annual go-kart street race through the downtown park every year. My sons, and several grandsons compete in the race every year, and I will try to visit the museum next year.

Randy, What an amazing thing to do, what a perfect way to preserve a part of your life's passion in collecting. I have to admit, what is going to happen to my collection has been on my mind lately. Not sure what I am going to do about it yet.
I have driven by that Museum a couple of times, it looked interesting, but I haven't stopped. Now I have a much better reason to make the time and visit.

Excellent ! I was at the museum some years back and it is a fascinating place. I noticed their very cool collection of model RV's, campers and trailers and now it's much expanded !
