Which next BRK model would you like to see in pure metal finish?
I like the aspect of pure metal finish on my 1953 Airstream Wanderer. The 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier Sport wagon also in pure metal finish is presented unpainted. I wondered which other model could be presented like these and i remembered the BRK 214 car hauler of B. Laurence which have this aspect but i do not remember if his car transportor are in pure metal finish? Perhaps some here remember more than me? I am not able to find this post via the archive. I remember the aspect of his transportor was close of the pure metal finish. Anyway the looks was close if it is not pure metal. I think that the BRK auto carrier would be beautiful in this finish? I like the original in yellow but i have already a yellow car hauler.

I like the metal finish look. I have a few I left like that, or with just a splash of color.

If I wanted "bare metal," I would primarily collect pewter models, such as those by Danbury Mint. Brooklin's finishes have set the standard for years (and those are basic to many of our collections). And yet BRK has improved and improved over the years, and now their work is close to the top at any price. Head for the top, BRK! Leave the pewter look to those who can't meet the level of finish that we collectors like.

Bare metal...pink collection....why don't we just have a plaid collection!
I'll try to stick with authentic colors (mostly).

I'm not into this finish at all myself; other than Airstream and such.

Jack, I agree this finish looks great on the Airstream but not sure about other stuff.

I like the bare metal look.
I saw several at the factory. It's certainly not authentic but it really brings out the detail and accuracy of the casting in a way that a painted model never could. Seeing the Buick GS in bare metal gave me an all-new appreciation for the model.

My preference is authentic colors on my models. The reason
I collect models is that they afford me the nostalgia of the 1/1 cars I have experienced in my life time and the color should be as accurate as possible. The only pink Brooklin I have is the 57 Oldsmobile as it's the only one that looks correct to me in that color.

The BRK 214 1955 car transportor would be the only other model that i would be ready to buy in this finish.

+1. The '57 Olds chart calls this Sunset Glow.
