I was never a big fan of the bathtub cars, but as soon as I watched Johns 'Unboxing Brooklins '51 Hudson Hornet' video, I had to have the model.
Having the 4 door on order with Brooklin, I knew Buz had the 1950 Hudson 2 door, so I had to have that one also!
The WMCE is a few hairs bigger than the Brooklin, but has the chrome trim surround around the windshield and rear split window, something that the Brooklin does not have, as mentioned by John in his video.
The colors are close, with the Brooklin having a darker maroon shade, and the WMCE having a lighter maroon shade.
They are both fantastic models and have earned a spot on the shelf.
They are both beautiful, Ben. I'd take either.
Nice comparison Ben. I have both models and both are very nice.
What an interesting comparison Ben. I too am not a fan of this era in American vehicles. Your images however, bring them alive. I may have to rething my purchasing and add at least one example of this period.
I have both of these and love them but I always prefer the coupe over the sedan.
I have the Brooklin Sedan, and an older version of the coupe. I might need to update that one. Yours looks great.
