@jkuvakas

Is this what Jeffery Lane’s Artesian Turquoise Impala replicates?

What a beauty!

Excellent presentation, John, on model materials. If anyone could get me into resin it would be Goldvarg.

@david-knight,  here's an early prototype of Jeff's Brooklin. I think the picture you show is either Nassau Bule or Mist Blue.

And here's a 1:1

@mark-lampariello

I believe Jeff uses Facebook.  I do not know of any web site.

An excellent presentation, lots of info. Thank-you for taking the time to put that together.

My collection comprises all three types too. I appreciate each for their benefits and craftmanship. I am relatively new to collecting 1:43 scale, having really getting started in 2013 with a resin purchase. What first got me interested was the variety of models available in all types.

For me, resin models got off to a rocky start, many of them had trim and bits come off, and repairs are not always easy. But that has improved greatly of late, now it's my clumsy hands that knock parts off, LOL! Even diecast models have improved, they almost had to I would think if the manufacturers wanted to continue to exist along with resin.

White metal is more where my passion lies, I just love the feel of them. They have loads of character and charm and a warmth I do not feel from diecast or resin. It's hard to describe, but each one is very special.

It's very hard to keep my purchases within any one model type as I have so many interests and there are so many wonderful models to chose from that I find so fascinating I have to buy all three types.
