Rod

Mini marque and Brooklin made 58 Impalas, To my knowledge no one made a 57 Lincoln convert, Madison made a 56, No one made a 62 Starfire, only a 63 by Brooklin.

Rod, the '58 Impala was made by Brooklin as a hardtop, and by

MiniMarque as both a hardtop and a convertible. The '57 Lincoln was offered
by Madison as a four-door hardtop. Both can be found on ebay periodically,
and the Brooklin Impala coupe is sometimes offered by established dealers
when they run across them.

The Olds Starfire was done by Brooklin, but it was a '63 and not a '62. It was
offered as a hardtop and later as a top-down convertible for the UK-based
Brooklin Collectors Club's special. It too may be found, although the
convertible was limited in number.

The British Brooklin Club also had a 56 Lincoln Convertible made as a club model in 1999. These were of a limited number and are now quite scarce and expensive.

Mo, in what color was this BCC Special done? Since the Lincoln

Premiere is listed in my "Brooklin Standards" book as released in 2003, was the
club special an early use of the '56 Lincoln master? Was the club model based
on the same Lincoln (BRK 99) issued four years later?

Thanks!

Lincoln BCC colors ...

The '56 Lincoln Continental MkII Convertible (Brk.11b) came in pearlscent white with red interior + another one in sky blue with white interior.

Hi Richard, are we barking up different trees here?

The club model was a 56 Lincoln Continental based on the No 11. I think this is the one off built for Ford's wife. Is this the one you are after or do you require the 56 Premier based on 99. if it is 99 my apologies, there has been no brk conv of that model.
Cheers Mo..

Yes, we miscommunicated, Mo. In your message above you said that a BCC model was based on the '56 Lincoln convertible, and I thought you
were talking about a club convertible model based on BRK 99, not the BRK 11
Continental.

I finally figured out that you were talking about the Mark II rather than the
Premiere. I didn't think that the club could have had a Lincoln convertible based
on BRK 99 which, as noted, didn't come out until three or four years later.
