Above: Henry J
Below: Allstate
The Henry J was built in the early ‘50’s. When initial sales were disappointing Henry Kaiser worked out an arrangement to sell additional cars through the Sears catalogue rebadged as Allstates. A few details such as different nameplates, upholstery materials, and use of Allstate tires and batterie’s differentiated the Henry J from the Allstate. Kaiser dealers resented the Sears offering as unfair competition for the Henry J.
Some years ago Brooklin Models did nice replicas of both the Henry J and the Allstate. Can you imagine the current folks at Brooklin offering these mundane nameplates?

They look really good and make excellent 1/43 automobiles. In 1/18, I have a yellow and also a red color Henry J and they are favorites. This and the Allstate are definitely great subject matter.
Perhaps yes, perhaps no. But Goldvarg might - they did the Crosley.
Brooklin did some nice Crosleys under the U.S. Model Mint brand. (Or for U.S. Model Mint).
