Having purchased the Triumph Roadster from an acquaintance knowing it was damaged it stayed in its box for months waiting for inspiration! I built an Illustra Riley RMC Roadster which had come with two screens, one upright that I fitted to the Riley and one in the folded position. After a trial fit it was apparent that this folded screen would fit the Triumph with some modifications to the bodywork. This is the end result.
I think it looks GREAT!
Very well done Roger. You would not know that it was a Riley refit.
Nicely done. Inspiration indeed!

The nice thing with white metal models is you can modify any part of a donor to fit better. Furthermore, if you are handy with a chrome pen you can do miracles by building up several layers to fit perfectly and this dries as hard as metal.
Beautiful work Roger. This is my favorite Triumph of all time.
