With chrome applied to the sides with a spatula, these behemoths took everything to the extreme. Forget the low end Buicks. The Roadmasters and the Limiteds are rare today. Brooklin’s ‘58 Roadmaster, even without all the chrome of today’s Brooklins is still a fine replica of the original.

An extremely impressive Buick both as as 1:1 automobile and as a model ! Here, it is especially elegant in black. I have a Vitesse '58 in convertible form and it's a favorite.
I no longer own my '58 hardtop detailed by the late John White, but my '58 Caballero wagon in beige over copper is a terrific model, with all the chrome properly detailed. No info on the baseplate, but I think it's a NEO (?). The '57 Caballero in blue over ivory, which is by NEO, is outstanding as well. Gotta love those four-door hardtop wagons!

I have a Kager station wagon transkit of the Vitesse in black, plus the Vitesse convertible and hardtop. My Brooklin four door hardtop is copper and really benefits from the bare metal foil treatment around the windows. No spatula needed, just a very sharp Exacto knife and sharp pointed tweezers.

Rick Thompson I too love those hardtop wagons.
And you know these Buick and Oldsmobile hardtop wagons were made by Ionia Manufacturing from hardtop sedans for Buick and Oldsmobile.

Looks nice. Now I know why you suggested I paint the top white on my Laurel Mist Buick, which I purchased last month. Unfortunately, I have to wait until it warms up in the Chicago area, since I do my spray painting in the garage with the door open.

And here are all three colors offered by Brooklin.
And yes, Harv, the white top on your Laurel Mist car looks sharp.
