Every year I tell myself "time to cut back Harv". And every year too much captures my eye (and wallet). So many to choose from, and the year ain't over. So I picked one white metal model and one resin model. First up, this Cunningham C3, based on the Brooklin and very accurate to the car I saw in the vintage race event at Chattanooga in 2022. An LE of 20 sold by Dale Dannefer, with a card inside signed by the car's owner. I think the name for the color is 'Barn Find Black', but it doesn't show up on the Auto Color Library. I always try to find models of cars I've seen race.
For resin I chose my Bizarre Budweiser rocket car. I posted this recently and confessed it was a holy grail. The first pic is a comparison of my three narrow-diameter rocket cars by Bizarre, which will appear in an MAR article (honest Karl, I'll get there eventually).
For my third choice, how could I leave this out, courtesy of Menards:
Nice additions to your collection. Buying less models - wait till next year.

I love the Cunningham, and the LSR is beautiful, too. Think of it this way, "If I buy a lot this year, it will be easier to look like I'm cutting back next year!"

@mg-harv So..........how many did you buy this year before committing sin of excess ?😪
I just got 13 and retired 15 to permanent storage. I think I will go to heaven for self control 😎
For all the fine excuses we (and I) come up with for "cutting back"............
@ed-davis It means never to be displayed again.
I become bored very fast if a model in not accurate and it goes back to packaging no matter it is Brooklin's, Conquest, Stamp or others. I keep the best 60 models on display to enjoy.
Here are a couple of my personal 1:43 scale favorites acquired this year: GLM 1958 Packard Hawk; ACE 1965 Barracuda; Maxichamps VW 1600; Schuco and Matrix Triumph TR5.
