How unique!

I had a slot car track for many, many years. I transformed it into a train layout but wish it were still a car race set.

I dare say, most of us on these Forums  had slot car tracks, I know I did.   If I had to do it all again - because I'm lazy - I'd hire experts  like this.... and I'm sure they could incorporate a few train tracks Tony.  😉 😉

O M G!  LOVE it Chris!! I'd have that bad boy in the living room, extend into the dining room, down the hall to the bedroom. I'd race in my sleep!!  Laughing Out Loud

Christmas of '65 or '66 I was lucky to receive a 1/32nd scale slot. It had an AM DB5 & Gullwing. Bestest Christmas Ever !

This was the GOAT of all of my Christmas presents.

IMG 8014

I was an 007 fanatic at about 12 or 13 years old and had the sears catalog page cut out and hung in my room, but never thought my parents would be able to afford it. I had a fit of nostalgia a while back and searched the interweb, found a real nice one for sale, $2600.00, couldn’t pull the trigger.

That's a cool layout; you were lucky to receive it back then; $3,000 is a bit pricey now.  The manufacture obviously had the Bond  license, so I wonder why the Aston Martin wasn't silver AND the Mustang wasn't a white convertible w/red interior?   🤔 🤔 🤔

$2600 you say?!!  Whoa...my marriage would be stirred AND shaken if I bought that!  My missus would be the one pulling the trigger.

I remember seeing that model set in the SEAR's Christmas Window. At least we're lucky that we remember it !!!

@100ford2003 I was very blessed to get that gift. I didn’t think I would get it because our family didn’t have much money and that set would have cost pretty much back then. I’m sure glad my mom didn’t find my other Sears catalog pages or I may have gotten bras and panties for Christmas. Hey, you gotta make do sometimes! Scared

Believe me, I was very blessed. My paternal grandparents.. Frank & Laura absolutely spoiled me. One of my best memories is when dziadzia let me mow the lawn using the riding lawn mower ! I was 9 !
